Anita Lee Garrison Smith is the 4th child of Juanita and T. Ed. When discussing his children, Ed has always described Lee as "the pretty child". Lee finished Pendleton High School in 1980 and graduated with a management major from Clemson University in 1984. After school she was a flight attendant with Peidmont Airlines and later US Air for many years.
Lee met Ronald Winston Smith, while in Charlotte and they were married in 1991. Lee and Ron have 2 children: Emily and Garrison, who both go to Pendleton Schools. In 2003 they moved from Charlotte back to Anderson to be closer to family and live at Denver Downs Farm.
Lee stays busy with Denver Downs activity and volunteering at the children's school and Welcome Baptist church. Ron works as a marketing consultant in the automotive industry.
Since returning to Anderson, both Ron and Lee have gotten increasingly involved with Corn Maze and Farm Market operation.
