Farm Facts

Denver Downs Farm is located near Anderson in upstate SC, on Highway 76, one mile north of Interstate 85. The 900 acres is a Century Farm and has been owned and operated by the Garrison family since the 1870's. Denver Downs Farm is a landmark on Clemson Highway that many school children and families have visited over the years.

Today we strive to nourish the farm heritage and continue to share it with our community.

Soil Conservation is an important practice of growing crops at Denver Downs. In the late 1980's, the farm was featured on phonebook covers throughout South Carolina celebrating 50 years of Soil Conservation in our state.

Welcome Baptist Church was organized in the front room of the Garrison home in 1894.

The Denver Down's Farm Market has been operating in some form since the late 1980's and is being run by Tom, his wife Angie, his sister Lee, and her husband Ron Smith. The farm's corn maze and pumpkin patch has been planted annually since 2003 with increasing activity and attendance each year.
